Foods You Should Avoid During Your 9th Months Of Pregnancy.

1. Caffeine.

Caffeine and caffeine-containing foods, such as chocolate, should be avoided by pregnant women. Caffeine should be avoided not only during the ninth month of pregnancy, but throughout your pregnancy as well, because it is dangerous and can harm your baby in the womb. Studies suggested that women who can’t do without caffeine should limit their intake to at least 200mg per day.

2. Alcohol.

You may have read or heard that alcohol is bad during pregnancy in different of places. Alcohol intake during pregnancy causes mental retardation and premature delivery. That’s why you should completely stay away from alcohol.

3. Saccharine.

Saccharine is a sweetener that should be avoided during pregnancy. According to studies, excess consumption of sugary food can affect your teeth which lead to tooth decay.

4. Tobacco.

Smoking should be avoided throughout pregnancy. It is harmful to you and your baby, and it can affect the development and growth of your child. If you smoke or chew tobacco, it is important that you quit not only during the 9th month of pregnancy, but also throughout your pregnancy.

5. Raw Sea Foods.

During pregnancy, raw sea foods such as fish and oysters should be avoided. According to several studies, eating raw or half-cooked meat while pregnant increases the chance of getting a bacterial or viral infection that can cross the placenta and harm the baby.
