According to PunchNews, the Independent National Electoral Commission has yet to upload full results from all voting units to its results reporting portal, better known as IReV, exactly two weeks after the presidential election.
Checks by our correspondent showed that the Commission has so far uploaded 166,168 results from 176,846 survey units.
A number that represents 93.96 percent of the results from all polling stations.
With only 166,168 results uploaded, this shows that the results of 10,678 survey units have yet to be uploaded to the Commission’s results portal.
Nigerians expected election results to be uploaded on Election Day as promised by INEC Chairman Prof Mahmood Yakubu.
As a result, INEC came under fire for failing to upload the results to its viewing portal, leading to the strike by some party agents at the National Collation Center in Abuja.
Recall that despite agitation by opposition parties, INEC declared ruling All Progressives Congress candidate Bola Tinubu president-elect by almost 8.8 million votes, while main opposition candidates Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, 6.9 million and 6.1 million votes had voted.
