He said that the classrooms are at different levels of completion and will be ready by January to ensure learning continues smoothly.

Speaking at Olkalou Comprehensive School while inspecting the ongoing construction of classrooms in Nyandarua county, Kipsang’ said the government is committed to ensure the CBC syllabus is implemented fully.

The PS encouraged contractors to ensure the classrooms are up to standards.

He urged parents to continue supporting implementation of CBC by cooperating with teachers.

Kipsang’ said the Ministry will roll out pilot assessments for Grade 9 in July next year to enable teachers understand what will be required for learners to transit to Grade 10.

He noted the learners will transit to Grade 10 based on various pathways which they will choose and will determine their future careers.

The PS added that each secondary school will have at least two pathways with STEM being compulsory.

He also highlighted that the government will construct TVET institutions in every county.
